Today was part 2 of our SECRET series. It’s been neat walking through a book of the Bible. What has also been cool has been that we have been revealing some BIG secrets as well.
Last week, I shared that we will be hosting one ginormous Easter Egg Hunt…Lifepoint Style! What’s an egg drop done Lifepoint style look like??? Try 30,000 eggs, One Helicopter, 9 Inflatables, 10 Carnival Games, Local Fire Department, Air Force, and the list goes on!
I got to roll out one more big SECRET that we’ve been planning as a church! I am excited to introduce you to Lifepoint Midtown! What is Lifepoint Midtown? I’m glad you asked. Lifepoint Midtown is the second campus of Lifepoint Church! That’s right! Over the next few months Lifepoints central offices and operations will be relocating to our new midtown location. Midtown is also going to give us a place to gather as a church for leadership development, worship nights, kids ministry events, Student events and a whole bunch more. Beginning this fall, we will be kicking off a Sunday night service aimed at young adults and college students. Stay tuned for more info!
We are hosting our first worship night at Lifepoint Midtown on April 1st!
No Joke! During that special event we will also celebrate communion and baptism. Mark your calendars because it’s going to rock!
I almost forgot, Lifepoint Midtown is located directly behind McAlisters Deli on College Rd across from UNCW.
On top of all that…we had two slamming services today at Lifepoint Ashley!
- Attitude affects Everything!
- Today was not one of those feel good talks but it is in scripture so we’re gonna deal with it.
- As a Christian I don’t believe that we have the right to have a bad attitude.
- We should have the Attitude of Christ–Phil. 2:5
- I had lots of great feedback about today’s message and how people needed to hear it.
- The music was solid today. The band was rocking before the message!
- My voice feels pretty shaky tonight. I may have gotten a little too excited today…nah!
- I caught some waves after church today! Have I mentioned how much I love living in Wilmington.
- I had two people come up to me today at lunch and tell me that today was their first time at Lifepoint. They also said that they usually never come to church! You could say I was excited to meet them.
- I rocked my NO PERFECT PEOPLE ALLOWED t-shirt from Newspring today.
- Second Service had some tense moments…Tension is fun.
- I heard an awesome story about one of our college students inviting Christ into her life recently! AMAZING!
- We had atleast 5 people pray to begin a relationship with Christ today! Did I mention I preach on Attitude. I love how God takes my attempt at a message and turns it into something life-changing!
- Our team was charged up from the UNLEASH Conference. Thanks Perry The Tommyknockers film
