A couple of years ago you told me that something big is going to happen, and it has!

I wanted to share a couple of things with that happened this past weekend, and last night. On Sunday, a gentleman approached Hart and I and started to tell us his story, it started two-years ago when he came to Lifepoint, with a friend. He stated that he left that day even more confused than when he came in. He said all of his family is in ministry, but he was different, he strayed, spent time in jail, out in the streets, but most importantly out of touch with God. So last Sunday he came back to Lifepoint with the connection card that he has had for two-years and we directed him to the next steps table for his journey.

Last night as things were wrapping up Brian and I were in the parking lots across the street, ensuring everybody safety, as they went to their cars. These two women I have never seen before walk across my path, they said they had never been to a Jesus concert before and it was awesome .  These are some exciting times at Lifepoint and something BIG is happening.

Encouragement, Lifepoint

Hey Jeff! I just wanted to comment and say how much I love Lifepoint! I’ve only been going here a few months, but I can’t tell you how much of a blessing Lifepoint has been. I’m a freshman at UNCW and since moving 6 hrs away and knowing no one, I have found a home away from home at Lifepoint. I joined the same lifegroup that Laura is in and we have all had so much fun together. Everyone is so welcoming not only in the lifegroup, but at church as well. When I first started coming I only knew one person, and would often sit by myself, but everyone around me would always ask me my name, how I was, and if I was in a lifegroup. This church rocks my sock off and I especially want to say thanks to you and all the staff for living your lives daily for Christ and not just putting on a show on Sundays. I really appreciate all the hard work you guys do! This sunday was great and I especially loved the story about Cody. That is SO amazing! Please tell him that I am so proud that he is standing up for what he believes in and being a leader for the my generation! He, especially, brightened up my day today! Thanks again for all you do! God Bless!

Amelia, thanks for the comment. I am extremely proud of our younger generation. I believe there is so much potential in you guys. Don’t let anything squelch it.

I brought my 76-year-old grandma and my 85-year-old aunt to LIfepoint yesterday and I was worried their heads might explode. They both come from a small congregation Southern Baptist background and it was their first time at a church like Lifepoint….and they loved it.

Even though Lifepoint caters more to a younger generation, God is moving in the hearts of whom ever walks through the doors despite age or background. That is why I LOVE my church!
