Where do I begin… I was blown away by every aspect of Lifepoint Church today. Our Teams were working overtime and nobody seemed to mind. Today was by far a record setting day for Lifepoint. I’ll do my best to recap it.

When I arrived at Port City Java at 6:30am this morning one of the baristas said, “did you know that you guys made the front page?” I had no idea.

Today was the first time we have ever done 3 services. We did a 9am, 11am, and 12:30pm.
Our people showed up in force. Thank you Lifepoint for attending the 9am and 12:30pm services because you freed up seats at 11am.
Our 9am was actually our highest attended service followed by our 11am and then our 12:30.
People raised hands in every service indicating they wanted to begin a relationship with Jesus.
I told the story of Hosea and Gomer and about God’s Crazy Love for us. It wasn’t a typical Easter message but I loved talking about it.
We had over 200 kids in KidZone Today!!!
Our attendance was over 1200 today. It was incredible to think that 1200 people heard the message of Jesus!!
I’m still waiting to find out how many first time guests we had today as well as how many prayed to receive Jesus as Savior.
I’m pretty sure we gave away a ton of FREE t-shirts today.
While I’m talking about FREE stuff I want to say thanks to Dane Waggett and Scooters Snoballs for giving away free snowballs after the first two services today!
We closed each service with a special artistic touch. I’m sure Drew enjoyed being painted three times.

One gentleman told me that today was the first time his daughters attended church and the chairs in front of them had their names written on them. What are the odds??? (we write the names of people we are praying for on our chairs)
UPDATE: I just found out we had over 20 people begin a relationship with Jesus!

I have gotta be real honest here. As excited as I am about our church, it is so much more exciting to realize and to know that God is actually accomplishing everything that is happening at Lifepoint! Not the first time recently that I have heard the story concerning visitors finding their names written on chair backs. That is NOT coincidence ya’ll! I am so grateful for the willingness of our workers, and for the obedient leadership of our pastors and staff! Somehow, I have to believe that God’s power in response to the prayers and submission of His people is so great that we have only just seen the tip of the iceberg! Greater things are still to come!

Dude…This was seriously one of the best messages that God has communicated through you. Communication is truly your “Art Form” . Don’t get me wrong I know you love surfing, photography, and the guitar…but this is your THING! and I love it!
