Sunday Recap Mother's Day 09

We launched a brand new series today called “Beautiful:  A series for Women and the Men who Persue them!”  We had lots of great stuff happening today.  Here goes:

Thursday psp
• First I have to say thanks to Newspring for coming up with this idea for Beautiful and letting us make it our own.
• I have been wanting to do a series for ladies for several months now.
• Don’t worry guys, the Man Series is just around the corner.
• Today we talked about True Beauty and how God sees you.
• We had Kevin McGeorge dressed up in a Tuxedo serving Chocolate covered strawberries and treats to the ladies.
• I got to announce to the church that Kevin McGeorge got engaged to Newspring’s Karla Temple!  Congrats Kevin!
• Attendance was just over 900 today which is remarkable considering that a bunch of our college students have gone home for the summer.
• Talking to ladies was harder than I thought it would be.  I found myself saying “we” quite a bit when talking to the ladies.
• I was sporting a vest and skinny tie today.  I felt very fashionable.
• Huge props to Rebekah and our band for playing Christina Aguilera’s song, “Beautiful.”
• We hit a few set up snags this morning and had to scrap our set design but it didn’t hold our team back.  Sometimes you just have to go with plan “B”.
• It was exciting to hear about Oak Leaf’s opening of their facility in the former House of Rock building!  Way to go Michael Alice release download Licence to Kill !
• I heard lots of great feedback from the ladies today.
• We are hosting a night for Married and Engaged Couples at our Midtown location on May 29th.  Attention guys, take my advice and sign up.
• Today was a fun day to be at church!
