Today continued our series for Women and the Men who pursue them. Today I talked about a wife worth finding. Here is the rundown.
- Speaking to women about being a woman worth finding is more challenging than you might think.
- Our band played “You Found Me,” by the Fray. Drew Making the Monkees film and the guys did a great job.
- Our man moment at the end of the service was a clip from the movie Hot Rod. I laughed hysterically during that movie.
- Whiskey will be my safe word!
- I was curious to see how attendance would shake out once our college students went home for the summer and I was very pleased. We had 783 today which was great!
- Speaking of college, I can’t wait to get our midtown campus up and running this fall!

- We read a story today from our friends in Bluefield, WV, Daniel and Hannah Walters. I’m proud of those guys and look forward to having them back in Wilmington soon.
- I announced today that we will have a series for Men later this year. It will be creatively titled, “The Man Series.”
- Our setup team was cranking it today. Great job guys!
- We could use about 25 people helping out with our ushers and our teardown. Holla if you want to be apart of changing the world!
- Got lots of great feedback from the ladies today.
- It definitely got tense in there. I thought I might get something thrown at me. I didn’t.
- I’m wondering if any guys will get a phone call during the workday this week! ;0
- Our creative director, Brad, took the day off today to celebrate his 1 year anniversary! Drop him some shout outs on his blog.
- I told a story about attending a beach wedding yesterday and the ring bearer dropped the brides wedding band into the sand and lost it. Just an update, they found it today!
- that’s all for now…time to relax.
Jeff, the Man Moment clip was from Hot Rod, not Daredevil. Duh…
Good call Josh. Correction made. What I was thinking was that “hot rod” ispired a series we did called daredevil.
