I was reading the same chapter yesterday and verse 4 rocked my world as to the calling we have to communicate God's word: "4 For we speak as messengers approved by God to be entrusted with the Good News. Our purpose is to please God, not people. He alone examines the motives of our hearts." Love what you guys are doing. Great word Jeff. We "get cocky" when our faith is our truth rather than His. Either way it boils down to a question of faith and of faithfulness. Great post Pastor.
