Today we celebrated the life that Johnny Todd lived. Johnny was a husband, a father, a son, a brother, a firefighter, and a paramedic.
I will always remember meeting Johnny at Carolina Beach on a Saturday morning. From that day forward Johnny made Lifepoint his home church. I had the privilege of Pastoring Johnny and his wife Heather over the past year and a half. I also had the opportunity to baptize both of them on Sept. 21st 2008.
I had the privilege of honoring Johnny and lifting up Jesus today during Johnny’s funeral. I was blown away by the response of the community. The jam packed church was proof that Johnny’s life reached far and wide into this community. The lives impacted by Johnny’s are in the thousands. I am grateful to say that I had the honor of knowing him.
We will miss you Johnny.

God Bless Johnny….. You will be greatly missed…….
Your message today, and the loving demeanor which you displayed to all present, gave honor to Johnny’s memory and to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you. I am proud that you are my pastor.
Best, most pointed, most healing, unabashed, tell it like it is, compassionate, respectful, yes that is what I am talking about, and to the only point that counts, “Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven” funeral message ever given in the history of memorial services.
