I am currently detoxing from the most intense weekend I have had at Lifepoint. We kicked off this weekend with a staff dinner on Friday night with Pastor Larry Brey, Connections Pastor from Elevation Church. Larry elevated our perspective and kicked us in the gut…we needed it. Saturday was spent with the most amazing team on the planet, the Dream Team! Saturday was our third annual Dream Team Experience. Saturday night I performed a wedding and Sunday I preached about as hard as I ever have. Here are some quick thoughts about the weekend.
I believe that what Larry Brey brought to Lifepoint this weekend was exactly what Daryl suggested. It was a revelation, and I received it as being straight from the heart of God. As the Man Series kicked off yesterday I really felt like I wanted to charge the Gates of Hell with a water pistol with the confidence that God would be with me and provide the victory! What an exciting, convicting, Spirit-filled weekend we had! I am totally pumped to be able to witness a “movement of God” in Lifepoint Church. The Spirit is speaking to us and I believe is getting us ready to see a supernatural explosion the likes of which this town has never seen. I want to be ready. Honor? I am honored that you are my pastor and I am honored to be your armor bearer.
