Week 2 of The Man Series was again, off the hook!
- I was completely honored to have my Pastor Matt and Martha Fry with us this weekend!
- I was yet again honored to have Pastor Larry Brey, who spoke to our Dream Team last weekend in our service.
- For a third time I was honored to have Pastor Jake Beaty, who is on staff at Newspring staff, with us today!
- For the record I am the second tallest guy in this picture. Jake just dwarf’s us all.
- We also had my grandparents in the service today. My grandad is 90!
- I have been completely loving this Man Series.
- We had some leaders and students pulling weeds in front of the school. That’s what I call serving!
- You can see the race car parked out front in the background of the picture above.
- Attendance is building. We were just over 800 today!
- I truly believe that God is going to exceed every expectation we have this fall. Get ready Lifepoint!
- Today I talked about how it’s time to Man up!
- In order to Man UP we must: Look UP; Give UP; and Grow UP!
- Ephesians 5 was the passage of choice today!
- The AC got knocked out over the weekend and the school was ridiculously hot!
- I preached with a handkerchief during the second service.
- I started the message in a Lazy Boy today.
- In honor of The Man Series our band played “Chicks Dig It” by Chris Cagle. Patrick nailed it and Chad absolutely destroyed the guitar solos! The entire band was amazing!
- We’ve got some secrets up our sleeve for the closing week of the Man Series next week!
- We made some big announcements today.
- August 12th we are hosting a worship night at our Midtown Campus.
- August 16-22nd we are challenging 70 people to step up and host a block party for their neighborhood. Each party will collect canned goods to stock a local food pantry. If you are interested in hosting a block party please email: info@lifepointnow.com
- I announced that Kevin McGeorge is officially coming on staff of Lifepoint Church. He will be our Student Pastor as well as Campus Pastor for Lifepoint Midtown.
- Lifepoint Midtown is kicking of on September 13th!
- Our first student event will be on September 16th at our Midtown Campus!
- It’s safe to say that this fall is going to be insane. Pray up big time Church! The best is yet to come!
