On Monday nights our follow up team calls and thanks our first time guests for attending Lifepoint. The following is an email that I received regarding one of their phone calls.
This was a note I just found from a FTG call that was made by our amazing Monday night team:
They called a FTG and this is what he said “Great Church! I have never felt compelled to go to church, but now I’m ecstatic for Sundays! We began attending because our 4 year old son, kept asking to go to church. He kept saying “church, church, church!” So finally one Sunday we decided to go to and came to Lifepoint. Thank you so much! I have never gone to church but I love Pastor Jeff and church and look forward to every Sunday!”
Um… yeah, a 4 year old just brought his parents to church! Praise Jesus!!!!
Very nice!
Jeff – could you share or send me what guidelines your followup team uses for phone calling? Do you do this in addition to other things (like email, hand written notes etc)
Curious what you think about the advantages of the calling are vs. the possibility that people want to be left alone.
How much followup is too much follow up?
