Beginning this Sunday, Lifepoint Church (not the organization but the people) are going to throw parties all over this city. We’ve got two goals for these parties. First, we want to see neighbors coming out of their homes and spending time together. Second, we are asking people to bring canned goods to the parties so we can stock a local food pantry. We will collect the canned goods on Sunday August 23rd at Church.
If you attend Lifepoint than you are enlisted to help us make this happen. We are looking for someone from each of our neighborhoods to step up and host a party. We are asking you to set a time, invite your neighbors, grill some hotdogs, and have fun with your community. Think you can do that? We’ll give you all the promo pieces you need to make this happen.
If you aren’t hosting a party yet…you should be. We are offering a $50 voucher to anybody that requests it to purchase food for their Block Party. Shoot us an email to info@lifepointnow.com and we’ll get you registered.
