Please ignore the fact that today is Tuesday and I’m just now posting my thoughts about the weekend.
- It was great to be back at Lifepoint! What does that say about you when you are on a cruise ship and all you can think about is how bad you wish you could be at Lifepoint?
- I closed up our mini-series called “I Love My City!”
- I taught about Nehemiah and how every great move of God begins with a broken heart.
- We’ve got a bunch of block parties happening this week.
- My family is teaming up with some neighbors and hosting a block party for my neighborhood this Saturday!
- We are kicking off a brand new Series this weekend called “HOPE.” I can’t think of a better time to talk about finding Hope.
- I promise you, there is not a more relevant topic to be speaking about than HOPE. Please get your friends here!
- It was great to see some new college faces Sunday!
- We are less than a month from kicking off our Midtown Campus!–Sept. 13th
- We are also less than a month from kicking off our Student Ministry!–Sept. 16th
- I asked everyone at Lifepoint to select a day and fast this week. Here are a few things to pray for while you fast:
- Pray that I am able to hear and see what God wants to do in me, Lifepoint, and Wilmington.
- Pray for this weekend’s HOPE kickoff.
- Pray for the launch of Lifepoint Midtown.
- Pray for the launch of our student ministry.
- Pray for the staff of Lifepoint Church.
- Pray for the hurting folks in our city.
- Pray for the block parties that are taking place this week.
- Pray for God’s power to be displayed in our city like never before.
- Pray for local churches like Rock Church, Life Community, South Side, and PC3.
