I love it when God allows me to say something that impacts another life. I live in a constant state of amazement that God would allow me to be apart of showing His love to the world. The following is a blog entry written by one of our students, Josh Stephens. Enjoy.
I was sitting in church this morning and this poem came into my mind regarding Hope and the monologue from Lamentations 3. So here it is:
And I Run
I am sitting here
tears rolling down my face
things getting thrown at me
hendering my pace
Yet I keep walking
I am at the bottom
struggling to get up
my heart broken,
beaten, dead
Yet I keep walking
It hurts and it stings
I look up and my dreams
lie there, shattered
Yet I keep walking
I feel Him here by my side
in the darkness
I try to hide
He shines
I get up.
I grab His hand.
And I run.
So, that’s it. We have all felt shattered, hopeless, in the dark with no where to go. We have to remember this:
“God wants to take you from Hopeless to HOPEFUL!” – Jeff Kapusta
Do not hesitate to reach up and grab His hand, the places He is going to take you are far beyond your wildest dreams. He has great plans for you, YES, YOU! Run with Him, run to Him, drown yourself in His word and in His presence, you will be a different person, a person full of HOPE!
