This Sunday we are kicking off a brand new series called “Urban Legends.” Have you ever heard any Urban Legends?
Don’t flash your lights at a car if they don’t have theirs on… the light that travels up and down the railroad tracks… how about the one about how the hook was hanging off the side of the car…
Urban Legends exist in the church as well. Beginning this Sunday we are tackling some of the biggest Urban Legends in the church.
- Oct. 4th–The Safest Place to Be is in the Center of God’s Will.
- Oct. 11th–You Have to Clean Up to Show Up.
- Oct. 18th–To Avoid Sin You Must Avoid Sinners.
- Oct. 25th–Good People Go To Heaven.
My personal fave….”God helps those who help themselves.” I’ve had people stand me down that that’s a Bible verse.
