Dear Lifepoint,

As I stood on stage yesterday I was overwhelmed with the honor and appreciation you showed to Me as your Pastor.  I was completely flooded with hundreds of “Thank You” cards.  There is no way I could write everyone back so I thought I would share my appreciation of you here on my blog.

I have to begin by thanking Jesus.  I know it is the “correct” thing to do but the honest truth is that there is no way in the world this church would be here without Him!

Beyond Christ, I have to thank my wife, Michelle, who truly is a solid rock in my life.

I also have to thank the staff of Lifepoint.  Lifepoint is NOT a one man show.  It takes a dedicated team to lead this church.  I thank God for the men and women that make up the staff of Lifepoint.

Next I want to show my love for the Lifepoint DREAM TEAM!  You are the backbone of what we do!  I know many of you serve long hours every weekend preparing a place where people can meet Jesus.  Your work is not in vain!  God is doing some incredible things THROUGH you.  We have seen right at 200 people invite Jesus into their lives this year!  We had our highest non-holiday attendance yesterday-940!  We have launched a second campus that had 180 people that heard about Jesus yesterday!  You have served your guts out and God is pouring His blessing out on us.  I believe that many more will come alongside of you and shoulder the load.  Keep it up guys!

Last but not least, I want to thank everyone who is attending Lifepoint.  One of the beautiful things about Lifepoint is that everyone is at a different stage of their spiritual journey.  We have many who are still curious about Christ and many who are sold out to Him.  Continue the journey and take the next step.  Many of you have taken the biggest step of your life recently and invited Jesus to be your Lord and Savior!  Praise God!  I celebrate with You!  Recently I challenged our church to rise up rather than shrink back during this financially difficult time.  Several weeks ago I talked about discovering hope for our finances through honoring God with the tithe.  Many of you have stepped up.  Every week I get excited because we are seeing more and more people take a step of faith and trust God with the tithe.  This pumps me up because it means there are more people in this community that are positioning themselves to be blessed by God.  More people have declared that they are not worshiping their money but rather their Savior!  Continue to take the next step.

With all that said, we still have much work to do so don’t get comfortable.  Galatians 6:9 says, “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Get ready Lifepoint!  God is great and He will do more than we could ever ask or imagine.  Thank you for making Lifepoint such an incredible Church!  Thank you for Loving God, Loving Others, and Serving the World!

Pointing People to Life,
Pastor Jeff
