I just started reading the Bible Chronologically with the Chronological reading plan provided by youversion.com. During my reading today this thought came to me.
God asks questions for our sake not His. His questions are to lead us to repentance. God asks Cain where Abel is. It’s not like God doesn’t know the answer. He does this in the same manner that He asks Adam how he knew he was naked. His questions are to cause us to repent not fulfill His curiosity.
