We’re Turning 4!

I’ll never forget when Michelle and I started having kids people would tell us, “They grow up fast!”  I used to think that was a cliche’.  Now we have 3 kids ages 8, 7, and 5.  To say they are “growing up fast” is an understatement.  Not only are our kids growing fast but so is our church.  It is hard to believe that Lifepoint is turning 4 years old this Sunday!

4 years ago we had a team of approximately 40 people.  This weekend we have rented out Kenan Auditorium anticipating 1,000 people to come together to worship Jesus.  God has been good!

I’d love to hear from the readers of Jeffkapusta.com…Can you recall the series we were in when you first started attending?  How has God used Lifepoint to impact your life?  Please share your stories in the comment section below.

We’ve come a long way since the kickoff back in 2006.  Here is the mailer we sent out back then…I designed it!

Here are the details for our 4 year birthday celebration:

  • One Worship Experience at 11am
  • Location:  Kenan Auditorium on the campus of UNCW
  • Click here if you do not have tickets. (tickets are free)
  • If you would like to be baptized please email:  info@lifepointnow.com
  • This will be a family worship experience and space is limited.

See you at the Party!

Birthday, Lifepoint

Yeah Multiple Choice! Hey so does this mean that every 4 years LP’s bday will end up on Super Bowl Sunday again? Or is that just a coincidence?

    Ha – cute flyer!

Spence and I are newbies. We started attending Lifepoint during the Crazy Love series and I could write a million pages on how taking the step to attend church that one day in April after giving up on God years ago has changed our lives. We have seen God move in our lives in unbelievable ways, and we have Lifepoint to thank, in part, for that.

We’re being baptized on Sunday, and can’t wait to celebrate the 4th birthday with everyone! :)

The more things change, the more they stay the same… kinda ironic, isn’t it?

From those first “gatherings” in a home that was big, but too small for the faithful band of adventurers, through all the waystations to Ashley, Lifepoint hasn’t been about a “church” in the popular sense of the word. It has been about the Bride.

    It still is.

That hasn’t changed in 4 years, though the wedding garments that are being put on have have become more visible and obvious. A wedding is about to take place and Lifepoint is prepping and primping to look her best. Many lives have been impacted; but the “glory days” have yet to see the light of day… they lie just on the other side of where you are now.

Maturity is one of the most beautifying traits you can exhibit; Lifepoint is truly in the process of becoming gorgeous.

Happy Birthday, Lifepoint! You’re looking good at 4!

W O O O W!!!!!!! I dont know what to say other then I was in aww this morning at keenan… AS I turned around in my seat from the front row and watched the people pour in all the way to the balcony I was just pure amazed.
Couldnt help but to think to myself how priveladged I am to be a part of life point. I dont think I have ever felt such comfort in any other church I have attended. Knowing this church is going somewhere and reaching so many lost out there. God is definatley moving in your church and it can be felt and seen. If life point has come this far and touched this many I cant wait to see where we are in another 4 years.

happy birthday lifepoint and God bless!
